The Manual was commissioned by the Overseas Development Administration, UK, and published by Liverpool University Press, UK. The manual is a guide to the preparation of projects for new development and settlement upgrading projects relevant to low income groups, based on the approach developed for the Ismailia Demonstration Projects.  The Manual has been re-printed and continues to be in demand.
