Brief description:

This project was funded by the World Bank and was designed to produce an effective system for the release and delivery of development land. Special emphasis was placed on the identification and evaluation of sites suitable for development appropriate and affordable to low and moderate income households. The projects also aimed to establish semi autonomous Land Management Units for the improved management of land use and which would be self-financing, would create adequate job opportunities to support the planned communities and which would undertake detailed planning, engineering designs and preparation of tender documents for ongoing land delivery programs.
